@invoice.bot/mainapp

The invoice.bot desktop app: a secure browser harness that signs in to supplier portals, fetches new invoices and delivers them to finance apps such as nevermind.finance. It runs on a computer you trust, keeps logins, passkeys and second-factor seeds in an encrypted vault, and never shows a secret to the model provider. This app is distributed outside the Mac App Store; the store version for macOS, iPadOS and iOS is invoice.bot/swiftapp.

Issue Reporting and Security

Status

Early. The app is an Electron shell with a hardened main window. Repository architecture and security rules are in AGENTS.md; local work plans stay in .nogit/readme.plan.md.

Development

pnpm install
pnpm run build   # tsbuild (ts/, ts_web/, ts_dev/) and tsbundle (dist_bundle/, dist_bundle_dev/)
pnpm test
pnpm start # build and open the app; needs a desktop session
pnpm run make # on macOS: DMG and ZIP through Electron Forge

The window also opens in a plain browser against a mock backend: after pnpm run build, serve the repository (python3 -m http.server 3050 --bind 127.0.0.1) and open http://127.0.0.1:3050/html_dev/?state=unlocked. state=none starts at setup, state=locked at unlock; AGENTS.md lists the other switches.

Layout

  • ts/ — the Electron main process: the app's lifecycle and its main window.
  • ts_web/ — the app's window (dees-catalog), bundled to dist_bundle/bundle.js.
  • ts_dev/, html_dev/ — the dev page: the window against a mock backend, bundled to dist_bundle_dev/bundle.js; not part of the app.
  • html/index.html — the app document, with a strict content security policy.
  • test/ — tstest tests.
