jkunz 07e045c977 feat: the iPhone Duo, laid out by size class with one navigation state
Layout follows the size classes only. Where the person is (section, open
record, its row in view, the review's position, filing checks not yet
approved, the account sheet, the search text) lives in Navigation, which the
tab layout and the split layout both read and write, so folding, unfolding,
turning and resizing lay out the same place again.

- the outer display in landscape (tent): the review shows the page beside
the filing; iPhone supports both landscapes
- the open inner display: the list column asks for the fold's width and the
fold becomes margin of the column it runs through, so the record keeps to
  one half
- Search in the sidebar; the Mac window's minimum size fits the sign-in page

The Docbox app for iPhone, iPad and Mac: the Library and the Inbox review, documents with their pages, versions and sources, Capture on the organization's scanners, and the entities documents are filed under.

Issue Reporting and Security

For reporting bugs, issues, or security vulnerabilities, please visit community.foss.global/. This is the central community hub for all issue reporting. Developers who sign and comply with our contribution agreement and go through identification can also get a code.foss.global/ account to submit Pull Requests directly.

What it does

  • Sign in with the address of your Docbox and idp.global, in the system's browser sheet. Docbox hands the app tokens of its own, kept in the Keychain of the device; Docbox keeps no passwords, and neither does the app.
  • Library: the Inbox, Flagged, Recent, All documents and the Archive with their counts, live as documents change. A document waiting for review opens with Docbox's suggested filing; Approve filing files it and the next one follows. Swipe a row to approve the suggestion, flag or archive it.
  • Documents: the pages with the other copies of them its versions hold (Use this copy, Turn: each a new version), every version with who made it, what arrived (the sources) and the details; share a read-only link that expires after seven days.
  • Capture: scan on a scanner of your organization with the settings it offers, and follow what was captured through its processing. Uploading from the device follows.
  • Organize: entities, narrowed by kind and country, with their documents; projects and processes.

On the iPhone the app has a tab bar; on the iPad and the Mac a sidebar, a list and the document beside it. On the Mac a document opens in a window of its own.

Development

Needs a Mac with Xcode 26 or later.

cd DocboxKit && swift test
xcodebuild build -project Docbox.xcodeproj -scheme Docbox -destination 'generic/platform=iOS Simulator'
xcodebuild test -project Docbox.xcodeproj -scheme Docbox -destination 'platform=iOS Simulator, name=iPhone 17 Pro'

The wire types and the client come from the Docbox library of fin.cx/swiftsupport, generated from Docbox's TypeScript contracts. api.global/swiftsupport is resolved from the Swift package registry of code.foss.global (apiglobal.swiftsupport); the scope's mapping is committed with the project.
