What Docbox does, how its executable runs (one file, one data directory, sign-in through idp.global) and what a server needs, the download of the newest release's Linux executables with sizes and SHA-256 digests, and a setup guide from the download to the first organization. The server looks the release up at code.foss.global at most once per 10 minutes and keeps the last good answer when that fails. The serve.zone declaration routes docbox.fin.cx to port 3000. Issue Reporting and Security

How it works
- The page is one web component,
<dbx-landing>(ts_web/), bundled intodist_serve/withhtml/index.html. It loads no fonts, scripts or images from elsewhere and sets no cookies, and it follows the visitor's light or dark preference. - The download comes from code.foss.global. The server (
ts/) askshttps://code.foss.global/api/v1/repos/fin.cx/docbox/releasesat most once per 10 minutes, offers the newest published release that carriesdocbox-linux-x64ordocbox-linux-arm64with the digests from itsSHA256SUMS.txt, and answers the page'sgetDocboxReleasetyped request at/typedrequest. When code.foss.global fails it keeps the last good answer; until a release carries executables, the page links the releases page and the container route instead. A new Docbox release needs no change here. - The server is
@api.global/typedserver'sUtilityWebsiteServeron port 3000, with its health endpoint at/healthz.
Development
pnpm install
pnpm test # builds the server and the production bundle, then runs test/
pnpm run watch # rebuilds and restarts on changes, at http://localhost:3000
pnpm start # the built server
Deployment
.smartconfig.json carries the serve.zone declaration (@git.zone/tsdeploy.deployment): the image from Dockerfile_##version## for linux/amd64 and linux/arm64, docbox.fin.cx routed to port 3000 with readiness at /healthz, no capabilities, no environment and built-in release evidence. The image builds from public packages only and runs as uid 10001. The gitzone release has a Git target only, with pnpm test and pnpm build as preflight.
